Hello fellow soldiers, family's and friends,
Welcome to the 113th Engineer Battalion Webpage. We believe it is the best web page in the Indiana National Guard! The idea was thought of about 2 years ago. This was before we ever had an inkling of a deployment. The main purpose was to have a resource online for soldiers and their families to access important information regarding an array of subjects that would be available 24 hours a day.
Secondly, it could provide some visual feedback to our soldiers by posting pictures of our activities. We invite constructive criticism! We always seek to improve.
Do to our current operational environment, sometimes we can not update as quickly as we would like to; your understanding in this regard is greatly appreciated. Also, we may not get a picture of every soldier. We certainly would like to and are developing a system to track pics in such a way that we focus on all of the battalion.
I would like to give a special thanks to the NCC at Stout Field in Indianapolis for their help in getting the web-site up on the server. Especially, SPC Walling who put time aside from his busy schedule to take care of me whenever I would just show up unannounced! Thanks again.
