As Assistant Division Commander for Training, Brigadier General Timothy J. Wright is responsible for the planning, execution and assessment of the training programs within the Division. He was recently appointed to be the Commander of Task Force Eagle for Stabilization Force Rotation Number 15 (SFOR-15); a rotation sourced to this Division. The General is also responsible for the Division Deep Operating Targeting Cell. General Wright began his career as an enlisted soldier in the United States Army Reserve on November 29, 1966. During the Viet Nam War, he piloted an AH-1G Cobra and received numerous commendations. Throughout his career, he has served in numerous infantry and aviation positions. Prior to his current assignment, General Wright served as Deputy State Area Command (STARC) Commander for the Indiana Army National Guard.
