Deedra Thombleson, Public Affairs Officer: 317-247-3105 Release #02132007-02 Updated information on the arrival of the 219th Area Support Group Indiana Soldiers are scheduled to arrive home February 14, 2007, after completing missions overseas. Maj. Gen. R. Martin Umbarger, the Adjutant General for Indiana, received notification that 102 Indiana National Guard Soldiers of the 219th Area Support Group located at Camp Atterbury, Indiana, will arrive at the Indianapolis International Airport at approximately 5 a.m., February 14. During its deployment, the 219th was stationed in Afghanistan. The media are invited to cover the return at the 38th Infantry Division Armory, 3912 West Minnesota Street, where family and friends are expected to greet the returning soldiers. We are indebted to these citizen Soldiers and their families for the sacrifices they made for our state and nation, and are very happy for their safe return.
