INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Heavy Equipment
Transport Platoon Company B, 38th Main Support
Battalion of Brazil, Ind., is scheduled to
conduct a departure ceremony prior to their
deployment to Iraq beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at the Brazil National
Guard Armory, 970 W. Craig Ave Brazil, Ind.,
47843.
Keynote speaker will include Joint Forces Land
Component Commander Brig. Gen. Michael A.
Kiefer.
Fifty five soldiers from Company B will be
mobilizing to Camp Shelby, Miss., where they
will undergo training in preparation for
deployment to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi
Freedom. While deployed, the unit will provide
heavy equipment transportation support within
the Theater of Operation.
