Deedra Thombleson, 317-247-3105 or 317-247-3222 or go to our Indiana National Guard Public Websites: http://www.inarng.org and http://www.campatterbury.org Release #10112006 – 2 Soldiers Return from Operation Iraqi Freedom 738th Area Support Medical Company (Monticello, Indiana) INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indiana Soldiers are scheduled to arrive home Thursday, October 12, 2006, after completing missions overseas. Maj. Gen. R. Martin Umbarger, the Adjutant General for Indiana, received notification that 65 Indiana National Guard Soldiers of the 81st Troop Command, 738th Area Support Medical Company, will arrive at the Indianapolis International Airport at approximately 3:00 a.m., on October 12th.  The unit is headquartered in Monticello, Indiana. During their deployment, the mission for this unit was to provide medical treatment and training. The media are invited to cover the return at the 38th Infantry Division Armory, 3912 West Minnesota Street, where family and friends are expected to greet the returning soldiers We are indebted to these citizen soldiers and their families for the sacrifices they made for our state and nation and are very happy for their safe return.
