Missouri National Guard F15 pilot ejects safely

An F-15 aircraft from the Missouri Air National Guard’s 131^st Fighter Wing, crashed this morning at Military Operating Area (MOA) Red Hills, near Terre Haute, Ind.  The pilot ejected safely from the aircraft.

The aircraft was conducting standard training maneuvers, as part of a four aircraft formation.  The incident did not involve a second aircraft.

The 131^st Fighter Wing is headquartered at Lambert Field in St. Louis.

The accident is currently under investigation.
